Greetings to all

Welcome to Guru Amar Das Adarsh Institute, a school that is learning-centered and is consistently moving forward in preparing students to be successful as modern global citizens. Our goal is to provide each student with a challenging and rigorous curriculum appropriate to his/her academic level. We will continue to differentiate the curriculum and structure to meet the needs of our students. At GAD, children are first and education is our priority. It is my top priority to provide students with a safe and effective learning environment. We encourage our students to believe in themselves, achieve knowledge, and gain social skills in order to become successful at whatever they attempt. I expect that our students will become well-rounded adults, contributing to our community as a result of their nurturing at GAD.

I am very happy with the progress the School has made by imbibing in its students value based education synergized with modern teaching-learning methods that inspire them to develop creativity, confidence and resilience to become independent and ethical life-long learners. I am positive that in times to come we will continue this journey with elevated enthusiasm and persistently provide a platform of holistic learning to the young generation of learners.

Over the years, as a teacher I have realized that if the fertile soil of the mind is enriched with the values of Love, Kindness and Patience, the saplings of good education and character will grow into strong trees and bear good fruits.

The School Management has always taken keen interest, providing qualitative infrastructure, encouragement and unflinching support in growing and marching ahead in all avenues of the school’s functioning.
We are indeed grateful to the parents for their confidence and entrusting their children to us to mould them to worthy citizens of the society.

Dear Readers,

It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to the Guru Amar Dass Adarsh Institute’s website. I wish to express my deepest thanks to the entire GADAI family, the parents and students, whose hard work and unstinting support has laid the foundation of such an institution. Our endeavour is to make the school years of our children the most happiest and the most educative years of their lives, to give them well-rounded holistic education that would prepare them to adapt successfully to the rapidly changing environment of today’s world. Each child is blessed with divine potential and if nurtured righteously, he or she can attain peerless heights. We are focused on identifying the unique gifts of each individual and helping to create the best life pathways for them. At GADAI, unrelenting effort goes in mentoring and metamorphosing the uncut diamonds into finer gems.  Education is not learning by rote and then repeating it in the examination. Our approach is student centered and goes beyond text books, class rooms and boundaries. This prepares them for life-long success. We put forward a distinctive blend of offerings in the areas of knowledge and enterprise in the form of encouraging students for debates, elocutions, quiz contests as well as organizing and taking part in various sports competitions and cultural events.

My endeavour would always be to ensure that each child of the school receives love, dignity and acceptance. Individually and collectively let us work to serve the noble cause of education, for the betterment of coming generation so that they live in a world where “knowledge is free and the head is held high”; where “the world has not been broken up into fragments by narrow domestic walls” and “the clear stream of reasoning has not lost its way”. Let our boys and girls grow as world class citizens – a generation of eminent thinkers and wise planners contributing to a better world order. That exactly is our wish; and that exactly is our dream.

The future is not what will happen but what we make it.

It is rightly said that “A dream becomes a goal when the actions are taken towards its achievement” and we at Guru Amar Dass Adarsh Institute are committed in taking constructive and purposeful actions to produce optimistic, independent, compassionate, life-long learners and leaders who will bring glory to the school, the state and the nation.
Guru Amar Dass Adarsh Institute is an amalgamation of competent teachers, state of the art infrastructure, an idyllic setting, experienced and efficient administration to provide a supportive and inclusive environment as well as a broad range of opportunities for students to achieve excellence in academics, creative, social cultural, sporting and community endeavours.
We offer a broad range of curriculum through which students are challenged and engaged in authentic learning that inspire them to develop creativity, confidence and resilience to become independent and ethical life-long learners. Our designated goal of “Enlightening Minds” stretches the minds beyond the obvious to prepare the students for the future world where problem solving, evaluating, working in team, communicating, creating and innovating are not only valued concepts but expected skills, attributes and capabilities.
