Teej Celebration

We, at GADAI celebrated the beauty of nature, arrival of clouds, greenery, rituals and customs depicting rich culture of Punjab by organising ” Teej Mela” at the school campus on 3rd August,2019. The girls and the teachers were dressed in their ethnic attire, had fun while getting heena applied on their hands, performing Giddha with Teej Folk songs in the air enjoying traditional food etc. The other highlights included Inter house folk dance competition, “Tiyan di Rani contest ” for teachers and “Sown di Pari contest” for senior girls which added glamour and fervour to the occasion.
